So all set! And I finally get to use the international driving permit I paid $15 for at AAA.
Though, drivers in China are crazy. They drive between the lanes, riding right on the dashed white (or even solid yellow) lines like a monorail. They don't use turn signals when changing lines or passing. In order to get in front of you, they cut through the shoulder. They pass you by driving right up to opposing traffic. Trucks with floppy plastic tops and no lights appear out of small alleyways and fly right onto you. Honking, honking everywhere. Streets with six lanes in each direction packed with cars. Noise and exhaust pollution filling up to the outer edge of the atmosphere.
